Rd. No. 851086. Crazing conducive with age. There is a tight

Majolica TEAPOT LID with FISH FINIAL. Circa
1900. Deep cobalt blue background with green and yellow leaf
with grey, brown and pink finned fish as the knop. Two very
small chips to fish (no pun intended!) One underglaze abrasion
and a small ding to cobalt rim edge. Measures approximately
2.75" top diameter. Inner diameter is 1.5" x ¾"
depth. Nice glaze. |

Majolica SPITOON coloured in green, brown
and yellow. Circa 1900. Measures approximately 7" diameter
x 3.5" high. Relief moulding round all sides. Two very
tight hairlines to sloping top (see jpgs). I think these have
been done through stress and not impact. Excellent condition
with no other chips, cracks or repairs. er. |
